Two more people are now in custody related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of several people hurt by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
